Who are we?

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee is the body of control and internal supervision of the Association, selected by the General Assembly. Resolutions of the committee are taken in the presence of at least three members of this body. According to the Statute of the Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area Association, the committee consists of three to five members, including the Chairperson and at least one of the Vice-Chairpersons.

Bogusława Engelbrecht, Mayor of Linia Municipality

Born on 20th November 1968. Graduated from the University of Szczecin and completed post-graduate studies in the field of Law and Administration. Councillor on the Linia Community Council (second term) and Chairwoman of the Culture and Education Committee. Between 1994 and 1998, she sat on the Supervisory Board of the hospital in Wejherowo and, for 15 years, she was a social worker with the local Social Welfare Office in Linia. From 2006-2014 she served as Deputy Mayor of Linia, during which time she co-founded the local Charities Association and became Chairwoman of the local "Kashubian Way" (Kaszubska Droga) Action Group. Also a member of the Audit Committee for the "Pradolina Leba"  Fisheries Association. On 16th November 2014 , she was elected as the Mayor of Linia.

Janusz Stefan Golinski, Mayor of Cedry Wielkie Municipality

Born on 23rd October 1960. Graduated from the Production Economics department of the University of Gdańsk and completed post-graduate studies at the Academy of Physical Education in Poznan. Worked at the Regional Office (Urząd Wojewódzki) in Gdańsk from 1986 to 2002, being largely responsible for sport and tourism. Trained in the functioning of local administration and government in France in 1991. Between 1998 and 2002, he sat as both a village councillor and the Chairman of the Koszwały Municipal Council. In 2002, he was elected as Mayor of the Cedry Wielkie municipality.

Currently serves as Vice President of the municipal/county Żuławy Association (Stowarzyszenie Żuławy).

Michał Pasieczny, Mayor of Rumia

Born on 23rd January 1977. Graduated in joint studies from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Maritime Academy in Gdynia: Engineering Repair Management and Marine Power Plant Operation. Featured as an Arka Gdynia football player for a number of years, as well as coaching the Arka Rugby Club in Rumia. Since 2010, has been serving as councillor on the Rumia Town Council (sixth term) and also as the Chairman of the Sport, Culture and Recreation Committee. In September 2013, he was appointed Chairman of the Rumia Town Council and on 30th November 2014, after victory in the local elections, he was elected as the Mayor of Rumia.
