Development Initiation Fund grant applications now being accepted

If you have an idea which will help develop and change the local area and which will improve the quality of life of the local community, you might in line for a grant up to PLN 25,000  thousand. zł.

Thanks to the commitment of some of Pomerania's largest companies, such as Grupa LOTOS SA, Energa SA and Polpharma SA, grants are available for projects that are innovative and develop the area by building cross-sector cooperation. The grants are being offered by the Fundusz Inicjowania Rozwoju (FIR - Development Initiation Fund)

You can apply for a FIR grant if you are an inter-sector partnership consisting of:

• A minimum of one entity from the non-governmental sector

• A minimum of one entity from the public sector

• A minimum of one entity from the public sector

Note! The leader of the partnership and the applicant must be the non-governmental sector entity.

There is a wide choice of themes for projects which can be realised with FIR funds

Projects can be implemented in the following areas:

• sports, tourism, recreation and the promotion of healthy lifestyles

• sustainable development, ecology and environmental protection

• culture, regional identity, protection of national heritage

• social affairs and equal opportunities

• education, science and entrepreneurship

• protection of health, preventive healthcare and safety

Projects that receive FIR grants FIR should be realised between the beginning of January 2015 and the end of November 2015.

Applications may be submitted at www.forumrozwoju.org.pl from 01.11.2014 and applications will be accepted up to 21.11.2014. The results will be announced in the second half of December.
