The popular ‘Taste in the metropolis – Weekend at half-price’ campaign is happening again over three weekends this April, once again giving residents and visitors the chance to get out and try some of the region’s best restaurants.

The local governments have got together to promote the event and in fact the final weekend will see some of the local councillors face off in a demonstration of their culinary skills (or lack of them possibly) under the watchful eye of some of the metropolitan area’s best known chefs.

In order to give you a chance to visit restaurants in different towns and cities and to enjoy what they have to offer, the event is being staggered over three weekends. You’ll find special menus and half-price dishes in the following places over the next three weekends.

April 9-10: Cedry Wielkie, Malbork, Pelplin, Sopot, Tczew.

April 16-17: Gniew, Nowy Dwor Gdanski, Pruszcz Gdanski, Sztutowo, Żukowo.

April 23-24: Gdańsk, Krynica Morska, Nowy Staw, Pszczółki, Puck.

Of course, as well as getting to taste some great dishes, this is also a great opportunity to get out and discover some of the wonderful sights in the region.
