The strategic importance of the Cedry Wielkie Municipality, located in the picturesque region of Żuławy Gdańskie, is defined by its exceptionally fertile lands, the unique landscape of the Vistula delta, and its highly favorable location near major transport corridors. The rich history of the Żuławy region and the unique charm of its flat landscapes make it a fascinating area that increasingly attracts tourists and new residents, primarily due to its close proximity to the Tricity agglomeration.

However, Cedry Wielkie is more than just an agricultural hub with growing tourist appeal. While it proudly preserves its historic hydrotechnical monuments and traditional architecture, it remains highly open to new investors and continually improves the quality of life for its inhabitants.

Cedry Wielkie is a municipality with a unique history shaped by the constant struggle and coexistence with nature. For centuries, the landscape of the Vistula delta has been transformed by settlers, including the Mennonites, who established a complex system of drainage canals, pumping stations, and dikes. To this day, the area boasts magnificent examples of historic architecture, such as traditional arcaded houses (e.g., in Miłocin) and beautiful Gothic and timber-framed churches, including the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels (Kościół pw. Świętych Aniołów Stróżów) in Cedry Wielkie, the Church of Our Lady of Częstochowa (Kościół pw. Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej) in Kiezmark, and the historic church in Trutnowy. Thanks to EU-funded restoration projects, these monuments have regained their former glory and now form key elements of the region's cultural heritage.

Many outdoor activities and cultural initiatives are associated with the municipality, focusing heavily on promoting the "Żuławy" brand. The area is becoming increasingly popular among active recreation enthusiasts. The development of cycling paths and modern sailing infrastructure - including marinas that are part of the famous Żuławy Loop (Pętla Żuławska) - creates an excellent network for water sports and cycling. These attractions draw tourists who seek tranquility, beautiful nature, and a connection with history, offering an excellent alternative to crowded coastal resorts.

The municipality's attractiveness is significantly enhanced by its location. Its convenient transport position along the S7 expressway (the Southern Bypass of Gdańsk) creates ideal conditions for the development of many enterprises. Thanks to this modern road network, residents and local entrepreneurs can reach the center of Gdańsk in about 20 minutes, and the Lech Wałęsa Airport in just 40 minutes. This seamless connection with the national road system and the Tricity metropolis is a tremendous asset for transport, logistics, and export companies.

Cedry Wielkie is attracting more and more investors. The municipality offers attractive areas designated for business and residential development. Local authorities actively encourage entrepreneurs to invest their capital here by maintaining a pro-business approach. This is made possible by effective budget management and the successful acquisition of European Union funds. Thanks to this, the municipality constantly modernizes its water and sewage systems, invests in road infrastructure, and supports the green energy transition through programs promoting eco-friendly heating and renewable energy sources.

New businesses are being established in the municipality that align with the concept of sustainable development. While the economic structure is historically rooted in agriculture, food production, and processing - taking full advantage of the incredibly fertile Żuławy soils - there is a noticeable dynamic growth in the commercial and service sectors. The area is home to an increasing number of trading companies, including those with foreign capital, as well as logistics centers that benefit from the proximity to the Port of Gdańsk.

Alongside larger enterprises, there is no shortage of medium-sized companies and family businesses in Cedry Wielkie. Residents and aspiring entrepreneurs wishing to execute their own business projects receive support from local initiatives, such as the Local Action Group (LGD) "Trzy Krajobrazy". These organizations assist in obtaining funds for starting non-agricultural businesses, developing local services, and overcoming unemployment by offering guidance and grants.

Residents of Cedry Wielkie also have access to a solid educational base and modern social infrastructure. Modernized schools, community centers (Domy Aktywności Lokalnej), and cultural institutions provide a wide range of activities for people of all ages, ensuring that the municipality is not only a great place to do business but also a vibrant and welcoming place to live.
