The town is considered one of the main holiday resorts on the coast. It is characterised by a maritime climate with health-promoting properties, clean water, and air rich in iodine. The town attracts visitors with its beautiful beaches and fish delicacies, and it is no coincidence that a royal salmon is featured in its coat of arms.
Władysławowo is a paradise for professional athletes who prepare at the Central Sports Centre in Cetniewo for the Olympic Games, World Championships, and European Championships, as well as for enthusiasts who enjoy excellent conditions for swimming, windsurfing, and yachting.
Since 2000, the Avenue of Sports Stars can be admired here - the only place of its kind in Poland. Every year, during the Sports Festival, brass stars are unveiled to commemorate famous athletes.
It is worth noting that the municipality has preserved its unique character. Despite social and economic changes, its regional identity and traditions have remained strong. This is reflected in its culture, customs, cuisine, and services.
Władysławowo is also closely connected with Kashubian folk art, most commonly expressed through sculpture and embroidery. The municipality combines vibrant local Kashubian traditions, the memory of General Haller, and a business-oriented approach to tourism. It is an ideal place for training sessions, conferences, and team-building events. Many modern and exclusive facilities are adapted for organising such events, and their number continues to grow each year.
