The Kosakowo Municipality is picturesquely situated by the waters of the Bay of Puck and the Gulf of Gdańsk. The waters of both bays are separated by the sandy Rewa Spit (Cypel Rewski), formed by sea currents and known as Szpërk in Kashubian. At the base of the spit lies the National Avenue of Distinguished People of the Sea (Ogólnopolska Aleja Zasłużonych Ludzi Morza), established in 2004, alongside the Maritime Cross (Krzyż Morski) featuring anchor-shaped arms.
The municipality boasts beautiful and pristine nature. The area is home to the Beka Nature Reserve, the Mechelinki Cliff (Klif Mecheliński), the Heronry in Mosty (Czapliniec w Mostach) famous for its significant population of breeding grey herons, and the Mechelinki Meadows Nature Reserve (Rezerwat Przyrody Mechelińskie Łąki), which features one of Europe's largest habitats of the protected sea holly. It is also a dream destination for those looking to enjoy the sea and sunbathing. The village of Rewa offers excellent conditions for water sports. Numerous water sports schools and equipment rental facilities operate in the area.
A great way to spend your free time is by taking advantage of the municipality's rich calendar of events. These include, among others: the Children's Song Festival, the Polish Kitesurfing Cup, the Plaque Unveiling Ceremony at the National Avenue of Distinguished People of the Sea, the Miss Poland of the Kashubian Region pageant, the Days of the Kosakowo Municipality, the Kashubian Festival (Festyn Kaszubski), and the Military Song Festival.
Throughout the entire year, visitors can enjoy the beneficial effects of the local climate and relax surrounded by pristine beaches, magnificent landscapes, unique landforms, and abundant wildlife.
