Krynica Morska is one of the smallest towns in Poland in terms of population. Situated in northern Poland on a small strip of land - the Vistula Spit - surrounded by the waters of the Baltic Sea to the north and the Vistula Lagoon to the south, and covered with an evergreen pine and beech forest, it has been attracting thousands of tourists for decades.
Every year, the town is visited by crowds of tourists. They are drawn here by factors such as the climate: clean, iodine-rich air, long beaches with soft sand, high white dunes, the waters of the Vistula Lagoon, which are rich in fish and perfectly suited for sailing, as well as beautiful, dense forests teeming with various plant and animal species.
Every tourist will find their favorite form of recreation here: beaches with full tourist facilities, such as water equipment rentals, changing rooms, and waterfront bars, as well as wild and secluded spots. The beach near Piaski, favored by nude sunbathing enthusiasts, is enjoying growing popularity.
The dunes are an undeniable attraction here. From the highest one, Wielbłądzi Garb (Camel's Hump, 48.5 m above sea level), you can admire a beautiful view: the Baltic Sea on one side and the Vistula Lagoon on the other, with its horizon enclosed by the hills of the Elbląg Upland and the Frombork Cathedral. Unforgettable moments can be experienced among the 150-year-old trees in the Beech Reserve, where you can encounter fallow deer, foxes, wild boars, raccoon dogs, and countless birds. In Krynica Morska, it is also worth seeing the town's old architecture dating back to the early 20th century, comprising a complex of historic villas and guesthouses, as well as the lighthouse - one of the few on the coast that is open to the public.
