The Linia Municipality is a region with a strong identity, largely inhabited by native Kashubians. Charming lakes, including the area's main reservoir - Lake Potęgowskie - are the picturesque showcase of the municipality and attract tourists seeking peace and quiet.

The Łeba River winds its way through the municipality from east to west. The local waters are famous for their pristine condition and abundance of fish.

This deep-rooted Kashubian heritage gives the municipality its highly unique character. The area is home to the Kashubian Education Center and an 85.6-kilometer hiking and cycling trail called "Feel the Kashubian Spirit" (Poczuj kaszubskiego ducha), which passes through 13 villages.

Each of these villages features a rest stop with a 3-meter wooden sculpture depicting one of the Kashubian spirits. An interesting fact is the introduction of Kashubian as an official auxiliary language in local government offices. Currently, children and youth learn the Kashubian language in all schools within the municipality.

In recent years, this small municipality has undertaken a series of strategic investments, ranging from road reconstruction and the building of multi-purpose sports fields, through the redevelopment of the wastewater treatment plant in Tłuczewo, to the modernization of the water treatment station and the expansion of the sewage network to cover most of the Linia area.
