The Pruszcz Gdański Municipality lies within two geographical regions - the Vistula Fenlands (Żuławy Wiślane) and the Kashubian Lake District (Pojezierze Kaszubskie). Local farmstays and hotels serve as an excellent base for exploring Gdańsk, Malbork, and the surrounding towns. In addition to its solid tourist infrastructure, the municipality captivates visitors with the beauty of its Żuławy landscapes.
The A1 motorway, national roads No. 91 and 7, the Tricity bypass, and the north-south railway line run through the municipality, perfectly connecting it with the rest of the metropolitan area. The proximity of the seaports in Gdańsk and Gdynia, as well as the Gdańsk-Rębiechowo airport, is also of great significance. The local government actively fosters entrepreneurship, as evidenced by the dynamic increase in the number of businesses operating within the municipality.
Agriculture is the foundation of the municipality's economy, followed by industry and services. Its location adjacent to the metropolis means that an increasing number of companies are establishing their headquarters in the Pruszcz Gdański Municipality. The largest companies operating in its territory include DGT Sp. z o.o., Komers International, Makro Cash and Carry, PPHU Galeon, and Tan Viet International. This trend is primarily driven by excellent transport links with the main cities and towns of the metropolis - which facilitate logistics and supply to the agglomeration - alongside a well-developed technical infrastructure, including water and sewage networks and an efficient telecommunications system.
The Pruszcz Gdański Municipality invites everyone to its beautifully revitalized manor parks in Arciszewo, Rekcin, Będzieszyn, and Wojanowo. They form a unique trail that can be easily explored by bicycle, as the villages are only a few kilometers apart. During the tourist season, it is highly recommended to see the municipality from the water by utilizing the kayak trails on the Radunia River (in the upland part of the municipality) and the Motława River (in the Żuławy part). In the summer months, visitors can enjoy the extensive infrastructure of the expanded sailing marina in Wiślinka (Żuławy) and the recreation center featuring a kayak pier and sports facilities in Juszkowo (Uplands).
