The Sierakowice Municipality is located in the heart of Kashubian Switzerland, a region enjoying an extremely diverse landscape, rich in forests, lakes, and rivers. These excellent natural conditions support the development of local agriculture and tourism, making it one of the wealthiest rural municipalities in Poland.

The geographical location and natural conditions favor the development of various forms of tourism and recreation. Charming corners and clean air allow for perfect relaxation. Among the moraine hills, there are many lakes where you can catch whitefish, vendace, pike, perch, roach, and even crayfish. As many as 23 lakes located within the municipality boast Class II water purity. This means that you can safely enjoy swimming and fishing here, as well as sailing, yachting, and kayaking.

To fully experience the Kashubian landscape, you can explore the municipality on foot, by bicycle, or by car, facilitated by numerous hiking trails such as the Stone Circles Trail (Szlak Kręgów Kamiennych) and the Szymbark Hills Trail (Szlak Wzgórz Szymbarskich). The Sierakowice Municipality is home to the Mirachowo Forests (Lasy Mirachowskie), which belong to the Kashubian Landscape Park, as well as the Gowidlino Protected Landscape Area, featuring three nature reserves with graceful names: Kurze Grzędy, Jezioro Turzycowe, and Żurawie Chrusty.

One of the first places you will see upon arriving in Sierakowice is the Papal Altar, which was moved here from Pelplin, where the Holy Father John Paul II celebrated Holy Mass on June 6, 1999. Nearby, in the neighboring village of Puzdrowo, you will find the house of Father Bernard Sychta, and there is also a 19th-century building furnished as a traditional Kashubian home in the area. In Sierakowice itself, it is highly recommended to visit the historic, reconstructed wooden church of St. Martin's parish.

The capital of the municipality - the village of Sierakowice - resembles a thriving small town in character. It serves as a commercial, service, and cultural center for the residents of nearby villages and the numerous tourists visiting the area.

Provincial roads intersect within the municipality: No. 214 from Warlubie to Łeba, and No. 211 on the Słupsk-Gdańsk route. Poultry farming and meat processing are highly developed here. These industries serve as strong economic assets for the municipality.
