The Suchy Dąb Municipality lies in the vicinity of the metropolitan center and within the Gdańsk Fenlands (Żuławy Gdańskie) Protected Landscape Area. Żuławy captivates with its beauty and richness, and is also an ideal place for water tourism and cycling. This region creates excellent conditions for rest and relaxation.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find something for themselves here. Three trails lead through the municipality's area: two hiking and cycling trails (the Arcaded Houses Trail and the Motława Hiking Trail) and a water trail. The Arcaded Houses Trail is called the greatest architectural treasure of Żuławy. These houses belong to the so-called pre-Dutch tradition; they are built in a timber-framed structure, filled with red brick or plastered, and feature a characteristic multi-pillar arcade projecting in front of the main part of the building. The most beautiful structures can be admired in the villages of Steblewo, Krzywe Koło, and Osice. The other notable route is the Motława Hiking Trail. Wandering along this trail provides an opportunity to admire the landscapes of the Vistula Fenlands. The red trail begins at the gates of Gdańsk, near the former bastions, and leads along the Motława River, through local villages, all the way to Tczew. The Gothic churches in Suchy Dąb, Krzywe Koło, and Koźliny deserve special attention.
The municipality is located near the most important transport hubs (the E7 route, the southern bypass of Gdańsk, and the S7 expressway). An additional advantage of its location is the proximity of the A1 motorway and the Lech Wałęsa Airport.
Due to its location in the Żuławy region, the municipality is a very fertile area. Despite its agricultural character, its cultural and tourist wealth is highly appreciated.
The ease of purchasing real estate, as well as the peace and contact with the Żuławy landscape and nature, attract more and more people wishing to settle within the municipality.
