The Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area Forum 2026: Practical Solutions for Public Administration

The Metropolitan Forum is behind us!

The main theme of the event was digital transformation - not as a buzzword, but as real actions, tools, and decisions made every day in public administration. The Forum took place on Monday, April 27, 2026.

The Forum brought together practitioners and experts: local government representatives, as well as IT and organizational change specialists. It was a great opportunity to exchange experiences and explore practical solutions supporting digitalization - from the safe use of AI, through digital document workflows, to the implementation of cashless payments.

Alongside the panel discussions, workshops were held, and the exhibition zone featured 17 companies presenting practical solutions.

One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of the upcoming MBA Smart City programme. Registration for it will open soon - an initiative of the Paweł Adamowicz Civic Study Centre, carried out in cooperation with the Polish Naval Academy, the Gdańsk Foundation, the Energy for Europe Foundation, and the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area. The study programme is currently under development, with a planned start date of October 1. More details coming soon.

We sincerely thank all participants for their involvement in the event.

The Strategic Partner of the event was the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park Gdynia.

The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Beata Rutkiewicz - Pomeranian Voivode, KPMG, the City of Gdańsk, the Poland Cashless Foundation, and Kainos Poland.
