Startup SentiOne is to further develop its pioneering internet monitoring tools thanks to an injection of 14 million PLN (€3.25 million) by Venture FIZ managed by Trigon TFI SA.

The end of October saw the completion of the latest stage of expansion at Gdansk’s Deepwater Container Terminal (DCT) an expansion, which doubles the handling capacity of the terminal.

The demand for new office space in the Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area (OMG-G-S) is just one sign that the area is increasingly attractive to investors, particularly those from outside of Poland.

The Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area (OMG-G-S) was ranked highly in two reports published this month which examined statistics to try to give a picture of how well cities are looking after their inhabitants and the health and happiness of inhabitants of urban areas.

The polls are now open for the residents of Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia plus 9 other local councils in the Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan AREA (OMG-G-S) to choose which local investments should receive funding this year.

Local governments from the Gdansk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Association (OMG-G-S) are continuing to pursue a Metropolitan Union together based around the Tri-city area, although the idea may meet opposition from the government.
